Student Spotlight: Talor Ray

Talor Ray is 17 years old and a junior at Cross Creek High School.

She has one older sister, Olivia who graduated from Cross Creek. She lives with her mom and dad, and has two dogs and one cat.

Ray likes to play softball and on her spare time she likes to spend time with her friends and babysit her little cousins. Her favorite colors are pink and purple. Talor’s favorite television show is The Voice. Her favorite song is ‘This is How We Roll’ by Florida Georgia Line.

Her two favorite country singers are Luke Bryan and Jason Aldean. Talor is also in ROTC. She is currently a Cadet Petty Officer 2nd Class. The teachers she favors the most are Dr. Price, P.O. Jones, Commander Shaw and Mr.Ogelsby.

Ray doesn’t have a favorite subject; she enjoys them all. The one person who inspires her the most is her grandmother, because she is always so giving.

Ray enjoys watching college football and her favorite team is the Georgia Bulldogs. She says her favorite season is summer because she likes to go to the beach, tan and to go swimming.

After high school, Ray plans to either go into the Navy or go to college to become a neonatal nurse.

“My plans after high school are kind of mixed up,” she says.
