Friday night’s game at Grovetown was a disappointment for Cross Creek
Everyone knows that Friday at Cross Creek means football. But this past Friday came with a sour note.
Before the game Mikal Holmes, linebacker and wide receiver, said he had high hopes for the game.
“We’re going out there and we’re going to play hard every quarter and every down,” he said.
But in the end, the Razorbacks suffered a 0-42 loss against the Grovetown Warriors football team on the opposing team’s home turf.
“I feel disappointed,” said Cross Creek running back and outside linebacker Ben Young, after the game. “We could have played differently with more heart and energy.”
