Special needs Christmas program scheduled for Tuesday

Christmas is right around the corner and the students at Cross Creek are already showing their Christmas spirit. The special needs students are having their annual Christmas show this year at 1 p.m. in the  Cross Creek auditorium.

The show is usually 45 minutes long and the special needs students and mentors will be on stage singing and performing Christmas jingles, said program organizer Mr. Bailey.

” The best part about our show is that the kids get to be in the spotlight and get to show off in front of their family and friends,” said SPED teacher, Mrs.Winslow. ” The people in the audience really enjoy the show, and people who don’t hang around special needs students as much, get to have a different look at them. Of course the special needs students are excited about the show and cannot wait to perform Tuesday.”
