Cross Creek High Schools “Spanglish” club presents their very first Cinco De Mayo Carnival! The spanglish club will hold this event on May 6, 2015 here at Cross Creek High School at 6pm-8:30pm. Everyone is welcome to this event so invite friends, family and anybody else that would enjoy this event.
The cost will be $5 per person. There will be two dancing groups known as Grupo de Sion which is ballet folklorico from Puerto Rico and Fuego Nuevo which is ballet folklorico from Mexico. The spanglish club has also been practicing a dance routine to blow the crowd away at this festival. The Senoritas Latinas will be here doing a fashion show as well. Our music will be done by Rodriguez Entertainment.
We are going to be celebrating the Hispanic language and cultures around the world. There will also be entertainment for kids such as face painting and a moonbounce. With all the music and dancing there won’t be any room for people to be bored. “I’m excited to do our dance routine in front of everybody!” said Jadyn Freeman a spanglish club member. There will be vendors selling different Hispanic foods. Come fill your stomachs up with food and your face with a smile at the Cinco de Mayo Carnival.
