Miss Cross Creek set for Saturday

Fifteen of Cross Creek’s most talented and attractive girls will grace the stage at in the auditorium this Saturday during the Miss Cross Creek pageant.

The pageant, which was open to any  female at Cross Creek, begins at 6 p.m.

The qualifications to win are that you have to have beauty, pose, and grace.

“Miss CCHS is a wonderful oppurtunity for young ladies to express  their individual style and to highlight their own personal achievments” says Mr. Jackson .

The pageant will have a 50’s theme.

Admission will be $5 for adults and $2 for current Cross Creek students.

It will feauture Miss Cross Creek of 2013,Miss Tiana Young.

The other contestants are catorgorized in three sections.

There will be 10 seniors, three juniors, and two sophmores.

Seniors competing will be Aliyah Fleming, Baylee Hall, Sierra Lewis, Katlyn Lillis, Aureana Lashaye Pearson, Brittany Perkins, Kimberly Reese, Jade Thompson, Jasomine Nicole Washington and Brianna Paige Young.

The juniors competing will be Hunter McElmurray, Samantha  Miller and Jaqueline Williams.

Sophmores competing are Jamieka Acosta and Chelsie Williams.

The gowning  will include Theme Wear Winter, Miss Congeniality, Miss Sophmore, Miss Junior, Miss Senior and Miss Cross Creek 2014.

The judges will be Ms. Rhonda Brown, Mrs.Kelley Rauton, and Mrs.Patricia, the head judge of the pageant.

The Program will begin with an Introduction and Welcome.  

Theme Wear Competition and Introduction of the Miss CCHS of 2013 will follow.

Sophomore Lindsey Conrad will also sing during the pageant.

The pageant will include and evening wear and casual wear competition.

Mr.Robert Jackson and Mrs.Katherine Howard will share in the directing and choreography of the pageant.
