Students and teachers got two days off of school because of the inclement weather. But it may not be all rest and relaxation.

News reports say that up to an inch of ice could settle onto roads and power lines in our area. Experts say it only takes about a quarter-inch of ice to start causing power lines to break.

People are being advised to stay off the roads, and news reports this morning showed major roadways in Atlanta, typically bumper-to-bumper at this time of day, completely empty.
